Our Process

At Goal Line Capital, we emphasize the importance of a tailored and client-centric approach to financial planning. Recognizing that each client’s financial journey is unique, we have developed a comprehensive process that ensures personalized attention and detailed planning. This process involves an initial meeting to understand the client’s goals, a thorough review and development of a custom plan, and ongoing education and adjustment based on client feedback.

After implementing the plan, we continue with ongoing monitoring and relationship building to provide clients with support and guidance as they navigate their financial future.

1. Introductory Meeting

The process begins with a 30-minute to 1-hour introductory meeting where we get to know the client on both a personal and financial level. During this meeting, we review key financial items such as balance sheets, income statements, and budgets to gather all the necessary information.

2. Plan Development

After the introductory meeting, our team takes one to two weeks to thoroughly review the collected information. During this time, we develop a unique, tailored financial plan that aligns with the client’s specific needs and goals.

3. Plan Presentation and Education

Once the plan is developed, we meet with the client again to present the recommendations. This stage is crucial for client education, as we believe it is essential for clients to understand the rationale behind the recommendations. We provide a broad overview of the plan, ensuring the client is well-informed.

4. Feedback and Adjustment

In the next meeting, we review the plan in detail with the client and gather feedback to refine the recommendations. This process allows for adjustments based on the client’s input, aiming to align the plan with their comfort level and preferences.

5. Implementation

Following the feedback, we move to implement the agreed-upon recommendations. This involves opening necessary accounts such as Roth IRAs, IRAs, or income annuities, getting them approved, and starting the funding process.

6. Ongoing Monitoring and Relationship Building

The process continues beyond implementation, as we prioritize building long-term relationships with clients. Our team regularly monitors accounts and meets with clients to adapt to the evolving retirement landscape, striving to align with their ongoing financial goals.
